Price
The price of training courses does not include travel, accommodation, meals or other related expenses. If clients or trainees request to borrow equipment then they should make requests well in advance as resources are limited. Prices are exclusive of VAT and Wood Life Training is not currently VAT registered.
Payment
Payment for courses is required on booking via bank transfer. Once an invoice is issued payment is required asap, within 7 days at the latest. Confirmation of a place on any course is only possible once payment has been made. Until payment is received and confirmation of a course place is issued Wood Life Training is under no obligation to hold dates for clients or trainees.
Courses
Wood Life Training reserves the right to make any reasonable variations to courses, including the content and location of the courses, without notice. It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure that the trainees / delegates meet the prerequisites of the Course on which they are booked, and that the Course content meets their requirements.
Wood Life Training reserves the right to refuse admission to the Training Premises to any person whom they consider, in their absolute discretion, to be unsuitable for admission onto the Training Premises or to remove any such person after the commencement of a Course.
Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel or to arrange an alternative date for a Course. In such circumstances we will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of cancellation or change to the Client. In the event of cancellation, the Client will be entitled to a full refund of the Course fee but Wood Life Training will not be liable for any other loss or expense arising.
The Client may cancel the Course booking by notifying Wood Life Training in writing subject to the cancellation fees below. The Client shall also be deemed to have cancelled the Course booking if the delegate does not attend the event. The Client shall be liable to pay 100% of the course fees if a course booking is cancelled less than 10 Working Days from the start of the course. For cancellations of more than 10 working days but less than 25 working days then 50% of the course costs are due.
In the event that the trainee or delegate is unable to attend the Course booked we will endeavour to transfer the delegate to an alternative Course. If this is requested more than 25 working days from the start date of the original Course then the only charges applicable will be an administration fee of £50 plus any difference in Course price. If a transfer is requested within 25 Working Days then the cancellation fee above shall be payable.
We will always endeavour to accommodate requests from Client given sufficient reason, however we are under no obligation to do so. If clients wish to substitute one trainee for another then that might be possible upon request. In this event the Client is liable for a £50 administration fee plus any unavoidable costs relating to the change.
Liabilities
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that any kit including chainsaws, climbing equipment, ropes etc are in good working order and fit for purpose. Wood Life Training is not liable for clients with substandard or unsafe equipment.
Wood Life Training reserves the right to cancel or change any courses for any unforeseen reasons such as an act of God, unsafe weather or working conditions, unsafe materials, sickness or any other cause beyond its control.
Intellectual Property
Intellectual Property which is identified as confidential shall not be copied or reproduced or disclosed to any third party without the prior written consent of Wood Life Training. The Client shall ensure that its employees and all those under the Client’s control and supervision comply with this obligation.
General
The Contract between Wood Life Training and its clients (trainees/delegates) shall only become effective at the Confirmation of any course booking once payment has been received and course confirmation issued.
Any typographical clerical or other error or omission in any sales literature, administrative documentation, course materials, invoice or other document or information issued by Wood Life Training or its Training Providers shall be subject to correction without any liability on our part.
